The things churches usually ask us before they start.
Is it really free?
Yes. The free package costs nothing and includes every feature. Packages differ only in the number of members, storage and whether you can use your own domain. You don't need a card to sign up.
Can we use our own domain?
Every church gets a free Ekksy subdomain, such as yourchurch.ekksy.com. Some paid packages let you connect your own custom domain instead; the pricing page shows which.
Which languages are supported?
The interface is available in English and Hungarian (Magyar).
How are paid packages billed?
Paid packages are billed once a year by bank transfer. There is no card involved and no automatic renewal, so you decide each year whether to continue.
Where is our data stored, and is Ekksy GDPR-compliant?
Ekksy is GDPR-compliant, and all of your church's data, including uploaded photos and documents, is stored in the European Union. Each church's data is fully isolated, and members can export their data or have it erased.
What happens to our data if we stop?
Members can download their own data or have it erased at any time. Paid packages never renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel: if you don't pay for the next year, your church moves back to the free package.
